This is my very first blog post of 2018 and I want to have a real talk with you guys. As you know, I’ve been blogging for almost 11 months now and I have learned so many incredible things that I’d like to share with you guys. I’d like to talk about important things I’ve realized in contrast to materialistic things. With that being said, I want to give you a little background on who I am, where I come from, and why I started blogging. Fashion has always been my passion. Moving to the US has opened so many doors for me in hopes of pursuing the fashion industry by blogging; where I can share my favorites, how I’m styling an outfit, what skin care product do I use and how I use, and …etc. Nevertheless, there is more going on behind the scene. As this field is so competitive, it’s not easy to stay motivated, positive, and inspired all the time. There are millions of beautiful and smart bloggers out there who are doing the same thing and sometimes it makes you think you’ll never make it, but one thing has always helped me. The love and passion I have always had for fashion suppressed these negative thoughts. I knew that I wanted to show the world who I was and I do that through my blogging. I have a lot to learn in order to grow, but I am so excited for what future holds for me.
Now it’s the time to talk about what I want to focus on more of this year. As simple as it may seem, I want to focus on living in the moment. I realized that in these past couples of months, I didn’t feel as present as I should be. I was always thinking about tomorrow and it gave me anxiety. I felt as if there was always something that I needed to worry about, but in reality, it was nothing but my thoughts. I want to be present in every single moment of my life, whether it’s good or bad; that means enjoying the good times and learning from the bad times. I want to post content that exemplifies living in the moment and staying true to myself. Hope you liked me talking real…
Now let’s get to the outfit details. I got this skirt from Victoria Beckham X Target a few months back and it has become my all time favorite ever since. I decided to style it with a cozy, chunky sweater and my favorite boots. I don’t know exactly what I’d call this look, but I know it’s one of my favorites for sure.
