Hello, hi, It’s me… Argineh! Let me start off with my name. The G in Argineh is a hard G, pronounced like “girl”! I know you guys have been struggling to pronounce it, but that’s ok! Ok, now enough of that, I’ve got some good news.. I’m officially back! I took a long time off from posting anything on here “my blog” & there were a couple of reasons why!
Let me tell you that I started blogging a little over two years ago! When I started, my main goal was to be able to share my daily outfits, maybe activities, my favorite products & favorite restaurants to eat. Then I started to get invited to so many fun events. I started working with brands that I’ve always dreamed of working with! I feel so lucky to be able to do that as my job every single day. Nonetheless, there was a side to all these brands that made me think deeper.
I remember when this whole “influencer” “Blogger” “PR” or whatever you call it, started growing, everyone was telling us whether it was a meeting or event; that you should be very careful on what you’re posting on your page & stories because PRs and management are watching you! Moreover, if you share more of the fun aka “raw” side of your life, they might not be interested to work with you as you promote their brand! Yup, this whole idea, right here, not sharing your raw life got me thinking. I’ve always been more engaged with influencers and bloggers on social media who always shared every aspect of their lives, so that was really confusing & it put me in a box that I was always worried what to post and what not to post. It continued to the point where I wasn’t sure if my OOTD was good enough to be shared on my social media. I started my own blog because I wanted to be free in my own fashion world that I’ve been living ever since I was so little so this was exactly the opposite of that!
So, I did what most people would do to fit in. I played safe! I worried about getting the right shot too much and that it would take me hours to set up a flat layer to shoot! Yeah, I know it’s fun & I love being creative & spending a little time to make everything perfect, but sometimes, some moments aka some beautiful “flat layers” happened in a moment where you least expect it. Capturing those raw moments not only feel more close to home but also turn out to be the most unique “liked” pictures.
I tried implementing this on my own social media, I started almost a couple weeks ago to do more stories in my real life. Whether it was cooking, singing a song to my husband or dancing in front of a mirror, and guess what, YOU, my online family happens to love those moments more than anything and engaged more! It feels like home. It feels like I made it!
With that being said, I am back stronger than ever to share my raw life, my favorites at the moment & everything in between, with you!
Thank you so much for all your continuing love & support.
I would really really love & appreciate to hear from you and what you would like to see more!
